Two of the things I work really hard to do are A. Make sure the picture applies to the submission, and B. Make sure I am using an attractive stock image and not stealing from a photographer (no taking pictures off of google). It is really really hard to find pictures that follow those guidelines, and so I tend to use the first one I can, instead of searching escpecially for “western” pictures that might not apply to the submission. Not saying that I’m trying to exclude our Western friends, just that I’m doing the best I can. I will definitely use western pictures where I can :)
